Video teams at Alabama Media Group and Red Clay Media won 6 Southeast Emmy Awards on Saturday. Staff were recognized with awards for work on topics from the Alabama women involved in WWII war efforts, to portraits of everyday Alabamians to media coverage of human trafficking in high school basketball.
The Southeast regional Emmys are awarded by the Atlanta division of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. An awards ceremony was held live on Facebook. Overall, AMG had been nominated in 12 Southeast Emmy Awards categories.
