No manufacturer has doubled down as hard on instant cameras than Fujifilm. The Japanese company has revealed a number of instant cameras in recent years under its Instax brand, and for good reason, given the popularity of the devices, especially here in South Africa. Nostalgia has been tapped into once again as the latest addition to the Instax range is the new Square SQ1.
This latest offering follows a very similar design to the Square SQ6 that Fujifilm brought to market a few years ago, and now offers a simpler offering that yields square prints, which are 1.5 times the size of the Instax mini versions.
In terms of what is on offer for the Square SQ1, Fujifilm says the new instant camera serves up automatic exposure and a one-touch selfie mode among its features.
