Gill, 21, has impressed in the IPL over the past two seasons, scoring 499 runs at an average of 33 for Kolkata Knight Riders.
The opener, who starred in India U19s World Cup win in 2018, will hope for more personal success this year, with the 2020 IPL starting on Saturday in Dubai.
