In the midst of any busy operation and navigation of strategic business opportunities, you often bump into interesting individuals who you would like to grab some more time with. Especially those people who appear to be on another level in the digital media and entertainment industry. Over the coming months, I promise to bring you ( The Reader) the best of the best from the USA in the social-media, entertainment and public celebrities sector, and show you how it all correlates to the rapidly emerging digital technologies. With this in mind it is a true honour to introduce Uncle Louie G  as my first interviewee for you.

How does your social media strategy correlate with the world outside ‘the matrix’?

It’s always interesting talking with self made businessmen based on their strong social media influence , only to find out that the business model is just as strong if not stronger outside the matrix in the complete physical world.

This interview started in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on the Fourth of July and ended with a phone call on 7-26-17. Let’s Dive In and meet  Uncle Louie G

Great to talk with you Uncle Louie G, tell us about the importance of Social Media?

Social Media, in one form or another, is the bench mark for how companies judge influencers or, in the entertainment biz, artists. ‘Is he or she talented?’ Yes. Ok good, what’s their social media look like? That’s how it works. Man, social media event impact the presidential election to a huge extent…

Has your business model grown because of Social Media?

I would say in terms of growth, the obvious answer is the ability to reach to the general public. On the flip side too though, our notoriety and our ability to penetrate so many markets and become a brand known by so many celebrities has also been huge. To be known as an influencer of influencers is tremendous.

How do you balance your work and your private life?

I never procrastinate and I always try to delegate when possible. I always try to find time to “sharpen the saw” like Stephen Covey once told me….

Photos are circulating of business meetings in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on the 4th of July 2017, how did that come about?

No business, all pleasure, just celebrating our amazing country and meeting new people. It was a great day!

What are your top 3 Social Media platforms and why?

Twitter and Instagram are my favorites because of their ease to use and ability to share things quickly and with so many. I’m sure Snapchat is powerful too but I have yet to use it…

What is your background briefly?

I grew up in NY.

Listening to rap music; DJ Red Alert was my favourite; 98.7 and 107.5 in NYC, idolize got Run DMC, The Fat Boys, and old school rap. I aspired to be a rapper…my first gig in the biz was working for Billy Joel at Maritime Music in Southampton. Shortly thereafter, I met a rapper/producer who would take me under his wing and teach me so much…first and foremost, he taught me that I would never be a rapper hahahaha that was the Fat Boys’ Prince Markie Dee.

Does it seem like a logical background to what you do now?

Man, I don’t even know if that’s possible to answer; at this point I epitomize diversity and do so many different little things. Once I aspired to create a way to make $1 Million dollars overnight and learned, the hard way of course, it was easier to make $10,000 one hundred times hahahaha I am still working on that! Never thought I’d do what I did with music and certainly never imagined I be working with professional athletes or a WWE World Champion but, as Goldberg says…”stranger things have happened”. To be honest, he has taught me a lot, been like a big brother to me. A very big brother hahaha

1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

Right now, I am enjoying what I have learned is important….my family. I like to think that I differentiate myself from others with my integrity, realism, and patience. I try to treat others professionally and build lasting relationships. That’s why I earned the Uncle monicker, people start thinking of me as their Uncle, somebody they can trust, ask for advice and who doesn’t look at everything as an opportunity for themself.

How have the last 12 months been – anything you would have done differently?

I have really taken a step back over the last year; having walked away from being President of “Legends of Wrestling”, well…I guess it’s been a great last 12 months!

What are you excited about in the near future?

I am really excited for Eric B and Rakim. So happy to see them back on stage and the importance of that, for hip hop, is monumental. Eric B has given me over 2 decades of advice and guidance crucial to my success in the entertainment business and also, in life.

What are your plans for next 12 months?

I’m developing a TV show with Adam F. Goldberg who writes “The Goldbergs” on ABC. Aside from that, and working with some of my clients like Bill Goldberg and Eric B who is really more of a brother and a mentor than anything, I really plan to travel quite a bit and enjoy my wife and kids. I also want to continue my service to the community and giving back. I enjoy helping Lex McMahon and plan to do even more this year for his charities.

What tips would you give to those starting out?

Get an education and a skill. Create a career and build a future. Whether you aspire to do music or sports, do it but don’t let it be all you try to do. Make it a hobby and if it works out, great…if not, have something you can fall back on…

Who are your sources of inspiration?

I am learning patience; that things don’t happen overnight. I am inspired by the happiness and success of my friends and family. I see success differently nowadays; it’s measured in time spent with family, security to allow them opportunities I may not have had. But my true inspiration is found in those who make sacrifices for our country and our safety; protecting us abroad and at home so we can live this blessed life in America.

What music do you put on to get up and get things done?

Funny you should ask because my wife often laughs at my playlist. I love Pandora and keep it on shuffle; Iron Maiden, Run DMC, Stevie Wonder, Italian Music, 1940’s music, even Country and of course, I listen to 90’s hip hop a lot!

Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked you?

I love animals. I have 3 dogs, 3 pigs, 1 bird, a tortoise, over 20 turtles, fish…yeah, my house is a zoo!

All-New Zero-Emissions-Capable London Taxi Tested to Extremes in Arctic Circle

COVENTRY, England, March 6, 2017 /360WiseNews/ — New pictures from London Taxi Company (LTC) demonstrate part of the extreme testing programme the all-new electric black cab is undergoing.

Under way now in the lower reaches of the Arctic Circle, the regime to check the vehicle performance in even the harshest conditions will only get more stringent over the coming weeks, with the taxi set to be cooled down in giant fridges to -49°C.

These checks seek to guarantee that the vehicle will always start, perform and enjoy class-leading electric battery powered range in the harshest of temperatures. The new range extended electric taxi will also undergo similar endurance testing in extreme heat environments before it is deemed ready for sale.

Quality Director Wolfram Liedtke explains: “Our new taxi is being developed with two key engineering principles – quality and endurance, to meet the needs of the demanding taxi duty cycle.  We soon commit the product to series production at our all-new manufacturing facility in Ansty, near Coventry.  It will be, without doubt, the highest quality and resilient product in London Taxi’s 98 year history.”

The testing programme also serves to check the quality of driver and passenger experience in extreme conditions. This means checking that cab heating and ventilation continue to perform to the highest standards – no matter how bitter or oppressive the temperature outside.

Driving experience is also checked – with the impact of grip, drivability and visibility tested to extremes.  LTC engineers can then make adjustments to ensure that passengers and drivers have the best and most comfortable experience, regardless of the conditions outside.

Steve McNamara, General Secretary at the Licensed Taxi Drivers Association, says: “This new clean, modern, 21st century vehicle will ensure that the world’s best cab drivers now have the best tool for the job.”

London Taxi Company CEO, Chris Gubbey, says: “Given these extremes of testing – we are demonstrating that our vehicle will be a taxi for London and the world over, capable and at home in any city.”

LTC is due to open its new facility on the 22nd March 2017 thanks to a £300 million-pound investment from parent company Geely.
