The following is aerial footage that shows winds from Hurricane Sally kicking up waves and white caps in Orange Beach at Alabama Point and Perdido Pass.

The drone video was shot by freelance videographer John Oldshue with Southeastsky.com.

Hurricane Sally, which is in the Gulf of Mexico, was upgraded to a Category 2 storm with a maximum steady wind of 100 mph. Alabama beaches were closed by Gov. Kay Ivey on Monday. The storm is expected to arrive into the Gulf Coast on Tuesday, and it could bring rainfall totals of 15 to 20 inches to coastal areas in Alabama.
